Owner,
Rosaline's Skincare & Spa When
you enter Rosaline's Skincare & Spa, the chances are good that you will be
personally greeted by the owner, Rosaline Lowe. That very personal touch has attracted
clients to her intimate Day Spa on Beacon Street in Brookline for 23 years and
is evident in every aspect of the spa and the services it offers.
Rosaline
believes that "a very personal relationship exists between our customer and
her esthetician or massage therapist. A spa experience is a very personal one."
Born in Grenada,
Rosaline spent her early years in England before moving to Montreal, Canada where
she received her education and training as an esthetican at Edith Serei School
of Estheticians. After investing five years at prestigious spa on Newbury Street
to perfect her professional skills, Rosaline had her own ideas about what clients
wanted and needed both in terms of services and treatments and what niche needed
to be filled.
In
1985, Rosaline moved to the suburbs of Boston and opened the doors to her own
business, European-inspired Rosaline's Skincare and Spa. Beyond the glitz of posh
Newbury Street, she quickly found an eager clientele for her upscale spa treatments
among two virtually untapped markets - suburban women and women of color.
Today,
she is known for the individualized skin care treatment that is the mainstay of
her business. She is a recognized expert in treating diverse skin types from aging
and problematic skin to the unique needs of skin of color. She has been featured
in national magazines such as Allure and Elle and local media including the Boston
Globe. Her signature facials have been recognized by Boston Magazine's Best of
Boston. These days, day
spas come and go as rapidly as fashion fads. At 23, Rosaline's Skincare &
Spa is still here doing what she does best. |
